Foyt Shake-Up Leaves Two IndyCar Seats Empty For 2027
xCruzo Brief
Foyt Enterprises is reshaping its IndyCar lineup for 2027, leaving two seats to be filled while locking in drivers for the No. 4 and No. 14 cars. The team confirmed Josh Pierson will drive the No. 4 Chevrolet, following an earlier report that Dennis Hauger will replace Santino Ferrucci in the No. 14 car. With those moves, only two teams still have open seats on the grid: Dale Coyne Racing and Juncos Hollinger Racing. Foyt’s changes come after a rocky 2026 campaign and bring in drivers with Indy NXT experience. The 2027 season starts Sunday, March 7, in St. Petersburg, with Fox covering the opener.
