The company announced on July 1, 2026 that the former Cedar Park Nissan location has been operating under the Group 1 Nissan Cedar Park name since March 24, 2026. Group 1 said the rebrand is part of a broader initiative to create a more consistent customer experience across its U.S. network, while preserving the local team and Nissan expertise. It emphasized that the transition did not involve a change of ownership, staffing, product offerings, or day-to-day operations, and customers continue to work with the same professionals. The dealership remains at its existing Cedar Park site and continues offering new Nissans, pre-owned vehicles, service, parts, and maintenance support for drivers across the Cedar Park and greater Austin area. Dustin Krieger, General Manager, said the local experience remains while the name adds clearer access to Group 1 scale and resources. The update highlights brand recognition and operational standards as competitive differentiators.
