Here's how much a Govan gangster made during his life of crime
xCruzo Brief
A High Court in Glasgow heard that Anthony Connell, 36, made £250,000 from his life of crime after a plot to kill drug dealer Ryan Carvil failed at the last minute. Connell, known as “Tony,” was involved in an assassination plan in which a potential hitman pulled out just before the attempt. He and associates were linked through incriminating messages on the encrypted EncroChat network. Prosecutors also said Connell ran a large narcotics operation, including nearly two million street Valium pills. Connell fled Scotland to Spain, but was extradited back in April 2025 and sentenced by Lord Scott to six years and nine months, plus a three-year serious crime prevention order.
