High school boys soccer: Deseret News 2026 4A All-State team
Deseret News' 2026 4A All-State selections spotlight an elite class led by Carlos Nieto-Rosales of Murray, named 4A Player of the Year after recording 26 goals and 16 assists as a senior forward. East's Alejandro Preciado Jaramillo earned the 4A Playoff MVP award, while First Team forwards include Teo Hummasti (East) with 18 goals and 9 assists, Boone Heaton (Desert Hills) with 18 goals and 10 assists, Miguel Gustave (Ridgeline) with 20 goals and 12 assists, and Ben Kotter (Ridgeline) with 20 goals and 11 assists. Midfielders include Michael Martinez (Murray) with 24 goals and 17 assists, and Christopher Terraza (Dixie) as a defensive midfielder with a high pass rate.
Defenders listed include Axel Lopez (Murray) with 4 goals and 8 assists, Charlie Spencer (East), Joe Cooley (East), and Dawson Ellett (Dixie). In goal, Adi Helac (East) posted 10 shutouts, while Crosby West (Ridgeline) had 10 shutouts and allowed 12 goals. The 4A Second Team forwards are Todd Simister (Desert Hills), Liam Lund (Snow Canyon), Mavrik Chlarson (Tooele), and Portman Busk (Crimson Cliffs). Honorable Mention forwards include Alex Sarabia (Dixie), Griffin Young (Sky View), Diego Solorzano (Orem), Bryson Penrose (Sky View), Daniel Keegan (Juan Diego) and Cardon Barnes (Cedar).
