Hills Ford Rally begins in Shropshire - what you need to know

The Hills Ford Rally returns to Shropshire for the first time in recent years, starting in Shrewsbury town centre on Saturday. Around 150 rally cars will gather around Claremont Street, with a free public viewing opportunity before the action shifts later in the afternoon to Weston Park on the Staffordshire border. Advanced tickets cost £10 or £15 on the gate, while under-16s go free. On Sunday, five closed-road stages will run twice across south Shropshire, covering Cressage, Clee Hill, The Lawley, Dorrington and Linley. Time trials will use five- to 12-mile routes with temporary road closures and varied spectator car-park charges.
