Honda Jazz e:HEV Review: The Forbidden Fuel-Sipping Daily Warrior

Honda’s Jazz e:HEV—known as the Fit in some markets—aims at the kind of practical, fuel-sipping daily driving that’s largely disappeared in the U.S. The review centers on a multi-day drive of a Crosstar Advance trim during the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, noting the modern Jazz is bigger and heavier than a 2007 Fit Sport. The 1.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid system delivers 122 hp and 187 lb-ft, while the tester’s Crosstar Advance weighs 2,760 pounds. By comparison, the older Fit produces 107 hp and 105 lb-ft at 2,551 pounds. Inside, it’s function-forward with a small 9-inch touchscreen and heated cloth seats.
