Indiana Fever Share Off-Court Update Involving Monique Billings
With the WNBA season paused for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Berlin, Germany, the Indiana Fever has shifted to off-court content highlighting players. While Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston represent the United States in the tournament, the team also shared updates on other members. On Friday, it spotlighted Monique Billings and Mercedes Russell, who recently returned to the Indianapolis community with a public appearance and fan event. The Fever posted that the afternoon included “good food & good company” at indianapolischicks in Fishers, where both players met fans and signed autographs. Billings, in her first year, has been active in community events and supports mental health advocacy; Russell joined the Fever less than a month after Damiris Dantas’ season-ending injury.
