IndyCar's Marcus Armstrong Staying At Meyer Shank Racing
IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong will remain with Meyer Shank Racing under a multi-year contract extension starting in 2027. As part of the deal, the New Zealander will switch to the team’s No. 60 MSR Honda at the beginning of the 2027 NTT IndyCar Series season. The seat is being vacated by this year’s Indianapolis 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist, who announced the departure last week and is expected to return to Arrow McLaren. Armstrong said he is proud of the partnership with MSR and expects to return to the Indy 500 “with unfinished business” from this year. Since joining MSR in 2025, he has recorded a second career podium in Iowa, 11 top-10 finishes in his first season, and five additional top-10 results this campaign. With seven races remaining in 2026, he has also delivered a fifth-place finish at the 110th Indy 500 after starting 16th, plus a near-win at Road America halted by mechanical issues.
