Jack Leiter struck out 10 over 5 2/3 scoreless innings as the Texas Rangers earned a 6-3 win over the Kansas City Royals in Arlington, sealing their second series sweep of the season. Kansas City (22-37) has dropped six in a row and nine of 11, while the Royals own the fewest road wins in the majors. In the first, Josh Jung doubled with one out, and Ezequiel Duran tripled home two to stake Texas to a 2‑0 lead, followed by an RBI single from Alejandro Osuna and a Kyle Higashioka double to cap the rally. Jung added a two‑run single with the bases loaded in the fourth, extending the advantage to 6‑0. Leiter allowed three hits and two walks, fanning nine through five frames, while Beeks closed the ninth for Kansas City. Wacha permitted six runs in five innings. The Rangers will start Jacob deGrom on Monday in St. Louis against Chase Burns, while the Royals head to Cincinnati to face RHP Chase Burns and the Reds.
