Jake Carter And Billy Offer Tapped As Co-Heads Of Range Media Partners Film Finance And Sales Division Range Select

Range Media Partners has tapped Jake Carter and Billy Offer as Partners & Co-Heads of Range Select, the film finance and sales division. Both executives join from UTA in the Independent Film Group, with Carter spending the past five years in Los Angeles and New York focused on global film finance, distribution and marketing for independent and co-financed titles. Offer spent a decade at UTA after starting in the mailroom, later structuring financing and selling distribution rights. Among Carter’s credits at UTA are History of Sound, May December and Hope, while Offer supported projects including Longlegs, Tuner, and 4X4. The company said the hires follow recent expansions, including appointments in Film/TV and Scripted Television, and moves such as Range Games and acquisitions of Short Game Chef and Superfly. Founding partners Jack Whigham and Rich Cook welcomed “Jake and Billy.”
