Japanese Sports Cars You Can Still Buy With A Manual Transmission

Japanese automakers are tightening the manual-transmission lineup, with Honda planning to pause manual options for the Acura Integra Type S and Toyota ending production of the fifth-generation GR Supra. Despite that, there are still manual options available—some of them with limited runway as discontinuations are slated for 2027. The list highlights eight Japanese sports cars, including the Toyota GR Supra 3.0 with its 3.0-liter turbo inline-six (382 hp) and six-speed manual, plus the Acura Integra Type S’s 320-hp 2.0-liter turbo and six-speed. Honda’s Civic Type R remains available past 2027, while other models face earlier end dates.
