Jeep plans six-model range in Europe by 2030, including China-built large SUV
Jeep plans a six-model lineup in Europe by 2030, extending its electrified and four-wheel-drive strategy with vehicles developed through Stellantis’ global network. Stellantis says Jeep will span multiple powertrains, including hybrid and fully electric options, all with four-wheel-drive availability, according to Jeep executives at a Milan event on June 29. The centerpiece is a large D-segment SUV built in China with Dongfeng, intended to be sold in both China and Europe, with other regions under consideration. The next-generation Recon, due expected early next year, will be fully electric and four-wheel drive only. Jeep also targets two additional B-segment SUVs based on Stellantis’ STLA One platform, with some launches potentially arriving before 2030. Stellantis last month disclosed a $1.2 billion deal for Jeep- and Peugeot-branded production in China, supported by platform development with Dongfeng.
