JOTA Cadillacs lead 1-2 at Le Mans with half the race to go

At Le Mans halfway through the 24‑hour race, JOTA Cadillacs hold a 1‑2 lead, separated by about 20 seconds. Sebastien Bourdais in the #38 Cadillac leads Louis Deletraz in the #12, with Ryo Hirakawa third in the #8, roughly seven seconds back; pole‑sitter BMW #20, driven by Sheldon van der Linde, sits fourth, about 35 seconds behind the leader. Rene Rast began on pole and led much of the opening stints, but the #8’s pit strategy allowed Toyota to run in clear air and gain ground.
