Kasey Kahne joins Spire Motorsports for 2027 NASCAR Truck season

Spire Motorsports announced that Kasey Kahne will return to NASCAR racing full-time in 2027, driving the team’s No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado RST. The 46-year-old, an 18-time NASCAR Cup Series winner and one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, will begin the new truck schedule with the Feb. 19 Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Kahne has made six career starts in the Truck Series and visited Victory Lane five times, including Chevrolet’s 200th Truck Series win at Charlotte in 2015. He debuted nationally in 2002 at Rockingham and later made his first Cup start in 2004. His record includes 18 wins, three Coca-Cola 600 victories, and 27 poles in the premier division.
