Kia EV2 Long Range Review: Small Car, Big EV Ambition

Kia’s new EV2 targets affordable electric SUVs with a compact 4-meter package and technology pulled from larger EVs. Built in Europe at Kia’s Žilina, Slovakia plant, it’s priced from £24,245 after the UK £3,750 Electric Car Grant for the 61kWh Air. The EV2 uses Kia’s E-GMP platform and a three-screen dashboard, rides on 16- or 19-inch wheels depending on trim, and launches with a 133hp motor. The Air is claimed to deliver 275 miles WLTP range, while DC fast charging reaches 118kW for 10-80% in about 30 minutes. Kia also offers a comprehensive warranty.
