Kind and generous' Teesside man dies after crash with two HGVs in Cambridgeshire
A Teesside man’s death after a crash with two HGVs on the M11 underscores the dangers on a major Cambridgeshire route. On Friday June 12, Gary Porritt, 43, of Stockton, was driving a Ford Transit van when it collided with two heavy goods vehicles on the southbound carriageway between junctions 10 and 9a at about 12:15pm, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Miroslaw Muszynski, 69, of Priory Road, Dartford, has since been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on July 13. The incident has prompted tributes from Porritt’s family, who described him as a loving partner to Claire, a devoted father and a generous friend. The case highlights ongoing road-safety concerns on busy motorways and the pursuit of accountability in fatal collisions.
