Legend Richard Hammond in career update amid multiple court cases

Richard Hammond is set to travel to Malta to officially launch Hammond’s Spirits in the country, heading there this weekend (Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4) for the Mdina Grand Prix, according to Love Malta. Fans attending the event will be able to meet the former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter. Hammond will showcase his range of gin, whisky and rum under the Hammond’s Spirits umbrella, with Iron Ridge English Single Malt Whisky singled out after being named Country Winner—Best English Single Malt Whisky—at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards. The launch follows recent court-related issues, including a fine of £999 for speeding offences in late 2025 and legal proceedings tied to his motoring venture, The Smallest Cog.
