Marc Marquez cruises to Germany MotoGP Grand Prix victory
Marc Marquez cruises to Germany MotoGP Grand Prix victory highlights his Sunday win at the Sachsenring, where the Spaniard matched Giacomo Agostini’s record of 10 premier-class victories at a single circuit. Marquez, riding a Ducati, started from pole and pulled away to win by 1.996 seconds, finishing ahead of Aprilia-Trackhouse’s Ai Ogura. Raul Fernandez, Ogura’s compatriot teammate on Aprilia, completed the podium in third. The 33-year-old also won the Saturday sprint, reinforcing his dominance at the track often called the “King of the Ring.” The result reignited his title bid ahead of the summer break, reducing the gap to Jorge Martin to 18 points, with Martin finishing fifth on Sunday. Early in the race, Marquez was briefly challenged by his brother Alex Marquez before a crash ended Alex’s run after 10 laps.
