Mark Ruffalo said his Kia is “hands down a better car” than a Tesla, claiming it “feels luxury” after he drove both. Writing on X on Wednesday, the actor criticized Tesla’s build quality while referencing an Autoblog report about a preliminary NHTSA investigation into roughly 1.2 million Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. NHTSA said it received 156 complaints alleging a front suspension component detached, which could lead to “loss of vehicle directional control,” and noted no known crashes, injuries, or deaths at the start of the probe. Ruffalo has previously praised Tesla and later grew critical of Elon Musk.
