Meet Honda's new $25,000 electric hot hatch

Honda has introduced the Super-N, an affordable electric hot hatch launching in the UK from £18,995 ($25,000). The compact car weighs about 1,097 kg (2,400 lb) and measures 3,395 mm in length, making it notably smaller than rivals like Renault’s Twingo E-Tech. Built on Honda’s lightweight N-series platform, the Super-N uses a single front-mounted electric motor delivering 63 hp and 162 Nm, with Boost Mode lifting output to 93 hp. A 29.6 kWh battery yields a WLTP range of 128 miles, and up to 199 miles in city driving; 80% charging takes around 30 minutes at 50 kW DC.
