Moss-Covered Toyota Land Cruiser Startup Video Proves That Legends Never Die
Moss-covered Toyota Land Cruiser startup videos reinforce the idea that the model’s durability can outlast years of neglect, even when it looks beyond repair. An Australian YouTuber, Steve’s Place Down Under, was allowed to work on a 1990 70 Series Land Cruiser that had been sitting for an unspecified period and was covered in vegetation. In a roughly 16-minute video, the team checked for obvious issues, finding no water in the oil and a fully intact cooling system. The engine initially turned over, but corrosion in the distributor blocked spark. After cleaning the ignition components and refueling the carburetor, the engine briefly ignited and produced a small fire. More attempts led it to run, though it’s still unclear if it can shift and handle driving loads.
