Motorcyclist dies after two-vehicle collision near Doagh

A motorcyclist died after a two-vehicle collision near Doagh, County Antrim, on Friday, according to police. The rider, Jamie Fleming from Ballyclare, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash involved a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Skoda Enyaq on the Ballymena Road at about 13:40 BST. Police urged anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. Fleming’s family expressed grief in a social media post from his father, Alan, who said they were “devastated by this loss” and requested privacy while they mourn. Ballyclare Secondary School also released a tribute, saying Jamie would be remembered fondly by the school community and sending condolences to those who knew him. A funeral notice from Fleming & Cuthbert Funeral Directors added that Jamie would “never be forgotten.”
