Mum says 'I wish it hit me' as both kids killed in crash on way home from school

A five‑year‑old girl, Katherine, and her baby brother Harry were killed after being struck by a car while crossing the road with their mother, Sok Ram, 33, in Cabramatta, Sydney’s southwest, on Wednesday afternoon. Katherine had been excited about an award she was due to collect on Friday when the tragedy unfolded. The siblings and their mother were at an intersection when a vehicle struck them; emergency crews transported them to hospital, but both children died from their injuries.
