NASCAR qualifying results set starting lineup for Pocono race

Denny Hamlin won the pole for the Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway, the fourth of five straight NASCAR Cup events on Amazon Prime and the 16th race of the 2026 schedule. Pocono, opened in 1969 and joining the Cup Series in 1974, has hosted two Cup races per year until 2022 when it moved to one annual race; this track’s history includes Richard Petty winning the first Pocono event. Since 2022, winners at Pocono have included Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Denny Hamlin, and Chase Briscoe.
