NEW HONDA SUPER-N - SMALL CAR, BIG FUN?
Honda’s new Super-N compact EV is positioned as a lighter, more entertaining alternative to typical battery cars, reviving optimism after the Honda E’s end. Honda says pricing starts at €22,039 or £18,995, and the Super-N is built on the lightweight platform used for Japan’s popular N Series “Kei” range. A “BOOST Mode” raises output of its compact e-Axle from 47kW to 70kW, cutting 0–100kph/62mph to 10.0 seconds versus 14.51 seconds in “Normal Mode.” Performance is paired with a 29.6kW lithium-ion battery offering 206km/128 miles (WLTP) combined, and up to 320km/199 miles in city use. Charging to 80% takes 30 minutes on a 50kW DC supply. The model features Honda “Magic Seats” and includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a Bose eight-speaker system. Sales are planned only in the UK for now.
