Nguyen Thi Hai claims two silvers, secures Asian qualification at Tunis Grand Prix
Nguyen Thi Hai wins two silver medals and secures Asian qualification at the Tunis Grand Prix 2026 in Tunisia. In the women's F57 shot put, she threw 8.74 meters for silver, then took silver again in the women's F57 discus throw with 25.98 meters, earning Asian competition qualification. The Tunis event, held from June 16 to 18, attracted hundreds of athletes and served as a stepping stone for regional championships and Paralympic plans. Tran Van Nguyen added bronze in the men's F40 javelin with 23.76 meters. Vietnam dispatched five athletes under coach Nguyen Duc Ngoc and team official Tran Thi Hong as part of a growing para athletics program.
