Nicolo Bulega secures his 19th WorldSBK victory of the 2026 season in Race 1 at Misano

Nicolo Bulega extended his unbeaten run at Misano, claiming his 23rd consecutive WorldSBK victory in Race 1 of the Emilia-Romagna round. Starting from pole at Ducati’s home circuit, the Italian led from the start and crossed the line 6.117 seconds clear of Iker Lecuona, who finished second, with Yari Montella third. Lecuona grabbed the early lead after overtaking his teammate at the exit of the first chicane, but Bulega reclaimed the advantage by Lap 2 and dominated thereafter. The top five was completed by Bassani in fourth and Alex Lowes in fifth, while Surra, Locatelli, Miguel Oliveira, Bautista, and Manzi filled the remaining points positions as the race progressed.
