Performance Brokerage Services Advises on the Sale of Grieger's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Valparaiso, Indiana to Garber Automotive Group
Performance Brokerage Services announced the sale of Grieger's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Valparaiso, Indiana, from Grieger's Motor Sales to Garber Automotive Group. The Irvine, California-based firm, described as North America's highest-volume dealership broker, disclosed the transaction on June 19, 2026. Grieger's has served Valparaiso and the Northwest Indiana region for nearly six decades, and David Rodgers acquired the business more than 20 years ago after a 40-year tenure with the company. Under Rodgers’ leadership, Grieger's earned the FCA Customer First Award for Excellence four times and supported local education and sports initiatives.
Performance Brokerage Services acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor, with Paul Kechnie, Mark Shackelford and Mark Shackelford Jr. of Texas & Midwest Partners, and Jason Stopnitzky guiding the process. Garber Automotive Group traces its roots to 1907, when Garber began as a Buick salesman, and by 1910 Garber Buick Company laid the bases for a multi-state dealer group. Since 1980, Dick Garber has led expansion in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and South Carolina, representing 17 franchises. The transaction marks Garber’s 26th franchised dealership and its second Indiana location, and the article notes that the sale price was not disclosed.
