Richard Hammond has been convicted of two speeding offences and fined £999, with a further £1,771 total order issued by Telford Magistrates’ Court. The 56-year-old was caught twice within three weeks in luxury vehicles in Herefordshire last December, using speed cameras. He pleaded guilty through his solicitor to two counts of speeding and received seven penalty points. Hammond was first recorded on December 2 driving a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo on the A40 near Pencraig, clocked at 68mph in a 50mph zone. Twenty days later, he was caught again on the A50 Rudhall Overbridge, driving a Bentley Continental GT at 82mph in a 70mph zone.
