Ricky Stenhouse Jr. detailed why his frustration with Michael McDowell at Charlotte Motor Speedway boiled over after the Bank of America 400. Stenhouse said the tension started with issues out of either driver’s control: their pit stalls, which he felt left them with poor pit boxes, including repeated blockages during the race. On track, he claimed McDowell defended him across every lane and even put his car into the grass down the front stretch.
