Romance man dead, woman hurt in White County crash | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

A man died and a woman was injured when their 2024 Nissan Kicks, which had just turned onto Midge Langely Road, was struck from behind by a southbound 2000 Dodge Dakota in the Joy community of White County, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report. The crash occurred on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m., and responders found the Nissan's occupants at the scene. Carroll Wells, 83, of Romance, was a passenger and died, while Ima Wells, 73, also of Romance, the Nissan's driver, was transported to a hospital for treatment. The Dodge Dakota driver has not been identified in the preliminary report, and investigators are continuing to review evidence from the crash site. The incident remains under investigation by state authorities.
