Skoda's Kamiq is ideal small city car
Skoda’s Kamiq is gaining momentum in Ireland, sitting third in the passenger car sales charts behind Toyota and Volkswagen. Through the year to date it has sold 713 units, an 8% increase versus 2025. The smallest Skoda SUV is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform, shared with the SEAT Arona and Volkswagen T-Cross, and is positioned as roomier inside than both. Skoda has refreshed the model with a more modern look, including an upright larger hexagonal grille, slimmer LED split headlights, redesigned bumpers, up to 18-inch wheels, and roof rails. Cabin updates include a 9.2-inch infotainment screen with an optional 10.2-inch digital unit, heated front seats, and a heated leather steering wheel. Boot capacity is 400 litres, expanding to 1,395 with seats folded.
