Sports agent from Cardinal Mooney honored with award

Kyle McCarthy, a Cardinal Mooney graduate now with Athletes First, has been named to the Forty Under 40 Class of 2026. The annual Sports Business Journal honor recognizes 40 rising executives under 40 across sports, including teams, leagues, media, agencies, and brands. McCarthy helped steer three clients to first-round selections in the 2026 NFL Draft: Jeremiyah Love (No. 3, Cardinals), Mansoor DeLane (No. 6, Chiefs), and Caleb Banks (No. 18, Vikings). Joe Royer, Cincinnati tight end, went in the fifth round to the Browns at No. 170. Honorees will be recognized at the Forty Under 40 gala on November 20 at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, Manhattan.
