Stellantis turns multi-million-dollar profit in second quarter of 2026
Stellantis reported a net profit of about $343 million for the second quarter of 2026, citing a strong gain in sales and revenue in North America. On Thursday, July 30, the automaker said total revenue reached $49.8 billion, up 13% versus the same period in 2025. North America revenues rose 32% to $20.8 billion, helping offset weak or stagnant performance elsewhere: Europe was up about 1%, Asia down 8%, South America up 2%, and Middle East and Africa down 0.2%. The results follow a major turnaround, after the company logged a $26 billion loss at the end of 2025 tied largely to costs from scaling back electric-vehicle plans. In May, Stellantis replaced its earlier EV electrification goal with “FaSTLAne 2030,” a $30 billion gas-focused strategy emphasizing brands including Ram and Jeep.
