Teenager killed in Fraserburgh motorbike crash

An 18-year-old died after a collision involving a Lexmoto LXR 125 motorbike and another vehicle in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. Police Scotland said the crash happened on Watermill Road at about 15:10 on Thursday. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volkswagen Transporter involved in the collision did not require medical treatment, according to police. Officers said the road was closed for responders and reopening occurred around 23:30. Sgt Dave Cooper said police were thinking of the deceased man’s family and friends and appealed for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage to contact them, as the investigation continues.
