This EV makes delivery vans look cool
Kia's 2026 PV5 blends commercial practicality with a bold, futuristic look, signaling a new direction for the brand's delivery vans. The model is offered in a single variant, the Cargo 'S' Long Range, powered by a single motor with a focus on range rather than multiple options. It carries a starting price of $55,990 before on-road costs, positioning the PV5 ahead of rivals in the small-van segment. Kia pitches the PV5 against the VW ID.Buzz, Renault Kangoo E-Tech, and Peugeot E-Partner, with the LDV eDeliver 7 and Farizon SV cited as near-price competitors. Visually it embraces a space-age vibe, with a white exterior described as Clear White and a Deep Navy interior. The van's dimensions emphasize practicality: 4695 mm long, 1895 mm wide, 1899 mm high, and a 2995 mm wheelbase. Inside, the PV5 prioritizes simple, modern technology, including a 12.9-inch multimedia touchscreen and a 7.5-inch driver display. Connectivity is comprehensive, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, USB-C ports, and a 12-volt outlet. The cabin also offers lumbar-adjustable seats, auto climate control, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, heated folding mirrors, and standard vehicle-to-load capability via an adapter.
