Two-car collision claims life of female pedestrian in Franklin County
Two-car collision claims life of female pedestrian in Franklin County reports a fatal crash involving two vehicles and a pedestrian in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania State Police said the collision occurred at about 3:45 p.m. on July 2 in Quincy Township. A Hyundai traveling east on Mentzer Gap Road entered the intersection with Tomstown Road and struck a Jeep going northbound, police said. The force of the impact caused the Jeep to hit Katina Espinosa, 53, who was standing outside a Nissan Rogue on the side of Tomstown Road. Espinosa was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hyundai driver, Sandi Miller, 60, of Fayetteville, and the Jeep operator, Karleen Hall, 30, of Waynesboro, suffered suspected minor injuries and were transported to Meritus Medical Center and WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital, respectively.
