Two vehicles damaged in County Road 29 crash - Peak of Ohio

A two-vehicle crash on County Road 29 in Logan County, Ohio, occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Friday afternoon, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. A 2011 Ford Edge driven by 20-year-old Sadie Thompson of Bellefontaine was traveling westbound when she hit the rear of a 2019 Ford F-150 driven by 63-year-old Benjamin Weaver of Mechanicsburg. Investigators said Weaver had slowed or stopped in traffic to let Thompson pass before the collision. Thompson received a citation for assured clear distance ahead. The Ford Edge suffered functional damage, while the F-150 sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.
