Used EV buying guide: The $30,000 edition

Used EV prices are rising even as supply improves, with Cox Automotive attributing part of the jump to stronger demand and cars entering the market from expiring leases. Since February, used EVs have gained just over 5% after the latest Middle East conflict. Sales remain relatively healthy: Cox says used EV sales are up about 25% year on year by May, though overall growth eases to a little over 20% after a weaker June. In June, used EVs averaged 38 days on lots versus 81 for new EVs. The demand skews toward the cheaper end, including $25,000–$30,000 listings.
