Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. Tiguan, an all-electric version of its best-selling model lineup, set to go on sale in early 2027. The new SUV will replace the ID.4 and ID.5, which together have sold more than 950,000 units since 2021. Volkswagen positions the ID. Tiguan as a “True Volkswagen,” featuring a redesigned, more traditional boxy SUV exterior under its Pure Positive design language, plus updated tech and an overhauled cabin. Inside, it adds a 10-inch Digital Cockpit and a 15-inch center display, with an optional 12-inch passenger screen, and brings back physical buttons. Range reaches up to 372 miles under WLTP depending on battery.
