Western Avenue shuts down for Muskegon's Rebel Road motorcycle event; Bike Time returns for 20th year
Muskegon’s Rebel Road motorcycle event will close Western Avenue to regular traffic, allowing only motorcycles during the weekend, according to organizers. Rebel Road, which began in 2015, benefits the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County and supports programs spanning prevention in every school, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer training, and a Children’s Advocacy Center with forensic interviews, exams, counseling, and court preparation. The organization serves more than 17,000 children each year in Muskegon County, with services provided free of charge. The article also describes Bike Time at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson, marking its 20th year downtown and honoring the late owner, Dr. Mark Campbell. A highlight is a free motorcycle giveaway on Saturday night, with the winner drawn from tickets earned through the event.
