Woman dies after being run over by own truck near Sebastopol, CHP says

A woman died after being run over by her own truck on Burnside Road west of Sebastopol on June 17, with authorities reporting the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. The woman had exited the vehicle for unknown reasons as it started rolling backward down a hill; she attempted to stop it but was knocked to the ground and struck. She was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
