Zlatan Ibrahimovic 's--ting in my pants' as Fox crew takes helicopter to World Cup Final
Zlatan Ibrahimović became the center of attention for Fox’s World Cup broadcast crew during their travel to MetLife Stadium for the final between Spain and Argentina on Sunday. While the team moved through multiple segments of the trip—starting at a desk under the Brooklyn Bridge, taking a ferry across the East River, then switching to a police-escorted car—one helicopter leg triggered visible nerves for Ibrahimović. During the flight from Manhattan to New Jersey, host Rebecca Lowe asked how he was doing as he held the side door. Ibrahimović joked that he was “s-ting” his pants, adding that he “doesn’t like helicopters” but that they would “go down together” if anything happened. On the ferry, he responded minimally, kicking a soccer ball into the water instead of speaking at length. The crew arrived on time despite long lines expected for fans before kickoff.
