Adele admits she 'doesn't sing very often anymore' amid comeback rumours
Adele pushed back on speculation about an imminent music comeback by saying she “doesn’t sing very often anymore.” In a rare interview at McLaren Racing headquarters on Friday, July 3, the Grammy winner addressed recent reports that she had quietly returned to the studio to record new material after nearly two years. Adele, 38, spoke with McLaren CEO Zak Brown and Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and explained that she enjoys thinking of singing “like it’s a joke” given her struggles with fame. When Norris asked if she still likes singing, she answered candidly and briefly referenced a few lines from Britney Spears’ “Baby One More Time” before further reflecting on her complicated relationship with celebrity. The comments follow a report by The Sun that she traveled from Los Angeles to London to work at Church Studios.
