Alison Hammond reveals she suffered 'massive panic attack' on This Morning - AOL
Alison Hammond said she was forced to leave the ITV daytime show This Morning after suffering a “massive panic attack.” On Friday, the presenter, 51, was seen clutching her chest and was escorted off the set by colleague Dermot O’Leary as the program mid-segment cut to advertisements. When the show returned, O’Leary told viewers Hammond was “feeling a little unwell” and had “to duck out.” Hammond later posted an update on Instagram, saying she’s home, safe, and “feeling so much better,” and thanking NHS staff after heart, lung and blood checks came back “all clear.” She also said she was new to panic attacks and apologized for leaving the broadcast. Earlier and later that same day she shared additional reassurance videos, joking about still wearing her makeup. Hammond has been on This Morning since 2003 and became a co-host in 2021.
