All Blacks deliver show of force to extend Eden Park and Bledisloe Cup streaks against Australia

New Zealand extended its Bledisloe Cup and Eden Park dominance with a commanding 50-19 win over Australia in Auckland. Australia were briefly competitive, trailing 17-14 at halftime, but the All Blacks responded after the break with five tries to secure a 24th straight year retaining “the symbol of trans-Tasman supremacy,” ahead of next week’s second Test in Sydney. Scorers included Peter Lakai, Tupou Vaa’i, Cam Roigard, captain Codie Taylor, Leroy Carter, Josh Moorby and Will Jordan, with 15 points from fly-half Damian McKenzie. Australia’s tries came from Tom Wright and Harry Wilson, plus a late score by Josh Nasser.
