Beloved 9-Part Fantasy Franchise Star Is Officially Ready for Reboot Movie [Exclusive]

Collider reports that the Good Witch franchise is officially moving toward a reboot movie, and cast member Chris Potter shared a behind-the-scenes shock. Good Witch began as a Hallmark TV movie in 2008, then ran through seven sequels annually until 2014. A TV series followed for several seasons but ended in 2021. Potter said his character Jake Russell died off-screen before the TV show started in 2015, yet the studio still asked him to return as a ghost. According to Potter, he wasn’t interested, joking with his agent about where the “ghost” role would lead. The panel was moderated by Maggie Lovitt at Big Lick Comic-Con in Roanoke, Virginia.
