Check out a free concert, drone light show at Farm Progress Show

Farm Progress Show will host a free concert and pyrotechnic drone light show on Sept. 2 at its site in Boone, Iowa. The event is presented in partnership with Van Wall Equipment, Titan/Goodyear and John Deere, featuring Iowa country music recording artist Jason Brown, followed by a drone show from Sky Elements. The concert and drone display are free for Farm Progress Show (FPS) ticket holders, while general admission is $15 plus fees through Aug. 28, rising to $30 plus fees afterward. With the show closing at 4 p.m., local performances begin the evening celebration, and Brown is scheduled to headline at about 7:30 p.m. The drone show is set for approximately 8:30 p.m., depending on daylight and sky conditions. Sky Elements, based in Texas, will produce a 12-minute show that mixes pyrotechnic bursts and agriculture-themed drone imagery.
