CTF Life Becomes First Insurer to Forge Long-term Strategic Partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group to Debut TIMA in Hong Kong This August
CTF Life announced a long-term strategic partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME), described as the first collaboration of its kind between a Hong Kong insurer and TME. The deal will bring the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards (TIMA) to Hong Kong for the first time. The two-day event is set for 22 and 23 August 2026, and CTF Life will serve as the exclusive title sponsor. The insurer says the partnership will support its branding promise of “creating value beyond insurance” and will also develop intellectual property for an independent international music festival. CTF Life’s CEO Man Kit Ip said the company aims to use music alongside insurance throughout customers’ lives. TME, the China music services platform behind TMElive, has delivered more than 300 premium audio-visual experiences and generated over 100 billion social media impressions, according to the release.
