DHS fires back at Paramore's Hayley Williams after 'f--- ICE' concert outburst

DHS pushed back against Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams after she told a crowd at her Chula Vista, California, solo concert to “F--- ICE,” and also called for “Free Palestine.” The Department of Homeland Security said in a Sunday statement that federal law enforcement officers work to keep the public safe and urged Williams to thank them rather than belittle their “sacrifice.” DHS noted the remarks align with Williams’ past anti-ICE and “Free Palestine” lines during her 2026 tour, and referenced a 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival moment where she urged fans to vote against Donald Trump. DHS also cited a reported surge in assaults on its personnel since January 2025.
